Catone, the passionate owner and chef, selects the best free range and organic produce from local producers in the region and Italy. There are over 200 quality wines to choose from, including
of course the local Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. When you enter you see that the restaurant has been tastefully presented to make the most of its magnificent exposed terracotta brick arched ceilings. There are three eating areas, which makes it great for romantic dining or celebrating with friends. To start there is always varied delights including hams and cheeses of the region, followed by a wide choice of pastas and main courses of the day. You might even be lucky enough to try local wild boar. They cater for vegetarians, and a gluten free diet.They've won too many awards to list in this small space, but they've got on display a huge cup they've won for offering the 'best plate' in Abruzzo, and this year they have been listed free based on merit in the Italian best restaurant diary which awards winners with a page for a day with their listing. They are closed Monday, and are open for Lunch and dinner. Credit cards accepted.
